Bash Brothers / Babysitter / DAD / Madonna Bangers
Crace Mountain, May 21, 2011
When Downtown Bobby Brown told me where this show was, I thought for sure it must be the kinda cool but dumpy house on the left, because there was no way anyone I knew lived in the awesome German Gingerbread looking house on the right, let alone was going to have landlord approved rock shows in its basement. Ford Pier - And The Goals Of Cognition - Besides
Ford Pier, as you are probably aware, is a fucking genius. And if you aren't, well, duh. Find out by snooping around his website because there is a great record by Ford Pier and the Goals of Cognition called 'Besides' available there. For free. Then buy all his other music because it is also fucking awesome. Duh.
This song is not on that record. But it is one of my favorites, and this video was shot on the last night of the Sugar Refinery in Vancouver in 2004. It is a great song, it was a great night at a great place and this is a great representation of what it was like to be there.
